RAM(Random Access Memory) is a very essential part of any laptop, computer, or mobile. Without ram, none of these devices will work better. When we install some applications within our device at that point it was stored on our internal memory and when you click on that application then it comes into ram, in this process ram actually works. The non-volatile memory can hold the data or store the data without a power supply. While on the other hand the volatile memory unable t stores data without the power supply.

Non-volatile memory is often known as secondary memory and some examples of secondary memory are pen drive, hard disk, memory card, etc. And you can travel anywhere with these data.

On the other hand, we cannot carry the volatile memory anywhere. For example, RAM is a volatile memory as long as it connects with the power it can save data but whenever power was getting disconnects the data presented within RAM will automatically delete.

Usually, when we open our device at that point the operating systems like android, windows, mac comes into ram and from there it goes to the processor that we can use. Similarly, when we install applications it goes to the memory card, and after that when we start that it will go to Ram, and from ram, it will go to the processors. This is how ram works as volatile memory.
